　　一、當all、both以及every的合成詞everybody、everything、everywhere等這些詞都具有"全部"的含義,他們放在有"not"的句子中, 無論not在這些詞的前面還是后面都表示部分否定中學英語教學論文英語，意思是"并非...都是..."。
　　eg、 1、All that glitters is not gold。
　　Not all that glitters is gold.發(fā)光的并非都是金子。
　　2、Everybodycanˊt speak English.
　　Not everybody can speak English. 并不是每個人都能講英語。
　　3、Everythingdoesˊt go all right.
　　Not everything goes all right. 并不是事事如意。
　　4、 Bothsisters/Both of the sisters are not students.
　　Not both sisters/Not both of the sisters are students.
　　姐妹倆并非都是學生(一個是學生,一個不是)。
　　5、Moneyis not everything 金錢并不等于一切。
　　但要注意這些詞的全否定形式要用no、none、neither等詞。以上幾個句子的全否定為： 1、None that glitters isgold。
　　發(fā)光的都不是金子。
　　2、Nobodycan speak English.
　　每個人都不能講英語。
　　3、Nothinggoes all right.
　　事事都不如意。
　　4、Neither sister/Neither of the sisters is a student.
　　姐妹倆都不是學生。
　　5、Moneyis nothing 金錢如糞土。
　　二、and用在否定句中，也就是not...and結(jié)構(gòu)，以及some用在否定句中也用來表示部分否定。
　　 一般情況下,and連接肯定句中的并列成份,or連接否定句中的并列成份,當and用在否定句中連接并列成份時,也表示否定部分的意義,not既能否定前面的動詞有能否定后面的動詞，但只能否定其中一個。
　　eg. 1、You can not eat the bread and have it.魚和熊掌不可兼得。(意思是：如果不吃面包中學英語教學論文英語，才能擁有面包或如果吃了面包，就不能擁有面包)

　　5、I didn't look at someof the pictures.
　　這些照片我有一部分沒看。
　　cf. Ididn't look at any of the pictures.
　　 這些照片我一張也沒看。
　　三、當副詞enough、often、quite、wholly、entirely、always 放在"not"之后也表示部分否定。
　　eg. 1、He is not quite astall as you 他并不完全和你一樣高。
　　2、He isnot always late for school.他并不是上學總遲到。
　　3、It isnot often that I come to London 我并不是常去倫敦。
　　4、You arenot entirely right 你并不完全對。
　　5、I don'twholly agree with what you said.
　　我并不完全同意你的話。
　　四、含有否定詞hardly、scarcely、little、few等的句子,也表示部分否定。
　　eg.1>Hecould hardly speak to his teacher.
　　他幾乎不能跟他的老師講話。
　　2>There were scarcely a hundred people present.
　　到場的不足一百人。
　　3>He gained little advantage from the scheme.
　　他從這計劃中獲得的利益很少。
　　4>He is a man of few words.他是一個沉默寡言的人。
　　五、含有prefer...to..、wouldrather...than...(寧愿...也不愿...)以及介詞instead of...、連接短語more than,是...而不是...,. rather than除了……等都可以用來否定部分。
　　eg. 1、I'd rather you knewthat now than afterwards.
　　我寧愿現(xiàn)在叫你知道這件事而不愿后來叫你知道。
　　 2、The color seems greenrather than blue.
　　這顏色似乎是綠的而不是藍色的。
　　 3、This is rather forfather to decide than for you.
　　這件事應由父親決定而不是你。
　　 4、Instead of fewerhelpers ,we want more.
　　我們需要更多的助手,而不是更少的助手。
